Pastor Jerry Eze Rejects Free Scenting Offers, Insists on Sapphire Scents for New Streams of Joy Abuja Auditorium
Adewale Jana, the founder of Sapphire Scents, has praised Pastor Jerry Eze, founder of Streams of Joy International, for demonstrating integrity by honouring his commitment to the company for the scenting of the ministry’s newly completed auditorium in Abuja.
In a social media post, Jana described it as a rare privilege to handle the scenting of the new Streams of Joy International edifice. However, he revealed that what impressed him most was Pastor Jerry Eze’s decision to stand by his word despite receiving offers from people who wanted to provide the scenting machines for free. According to Jana, after Sapphire Scents shared its first scenting video from the ministry’s old auditorium, several people reportedly contacted Pastor Jerry Eze, expressing interest in scenting the new auditorium without charging him.
However, the cleric reportedly declined the offers, insisting that he had already made a commitment to Sapphire Scents. Jana recalled Pastor Jerry Eze’s response:
“What will I tell Wale? I have given him my word.”
Adewale Jana explained that Pastor Jerry Eze could have obtained thousands of scenting machines overnight simply by announcing that he needed them. However, he chose to honour his existing commitment rather than accept the free offers.
He wrote:
“Pastor Jerry didn’t have to buy a single machine from us. All he had to do was send out the word that he needed scent machines and he would have thousands of machines overnight but he refused to do that. He said Sapphire Scents or NOTHING!”
Jana contrasted the experience with what he described as challenges his company had faced with other churches, including organisations that collected invoices from Sapphire Scents before purchasing from other providers and others that did not patronise the company despite its expertise. He said Pastor Jerry Eze chose to work with Sapphire Scents against those odds.
Beyond the business relationship, Jana described the Streams of Joy International founder as a man who genuinely loves people and keeps his word.
“Sir, you are not just one of the most powerful and one of the most anointed men of this generation, you also genuinely love people and you have INTEGRITY! If Pastor Jerry says he is with you, he means every word!” he wrote.
He also expressed appreciation to Pastor Jerry Eze and his wife, Pastor Eno Jerry Eze, for giving Sapphire Scents the opportunity to handle the scenting of the new Streams of Joy Abuja edifice. Jana concluded by congratulating the ministry on its new building and assuring the couple that the opportunity would never be taken for granted.
His account has drawn attention to Pastor Jerry Eze’s decision to honour a business commitment even when alternative offers could have provided the service at no cost.
