Police Declare Six Anambra Men Wanted Over Alleged Criminal Conspiracy, Cyberstalking, Incitement

The declaration was contained in a Special Gazette Police Bulletin issued under the authority of the Inspector-General of Police and referenced as Force Directive CID.

The Nigeria Police Force has declared six men from Isiakpu Village in Nise, Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State wanted over allegations bordering on criminal conspiracy, cyberstalking, criminal defamation, incitement and other related offences.

The declaration was contained in a Special Gazette Police Bulletin issued under the authority of the Inspector-General of Police and referenced as Force Directive CID.

According to the police bulletin, the suspects are wanted by the Office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Police Monitoring Unit, Force Headquarters, Abuja.

The individuals listed in the gazette are: Ikechukwu Emeka Onya, also known as “Movement,” 46, Obiora Samuel Onya, 47, Emmanuel Ikechukwu Aguh, 56, Emmanuel C. Osinem, 54, Chibuike Kingsley Okoye, also known as “Dada,” 43 and Obiechine Patrick Agu, 45.

The police identified all six men as residents of Isiakpu Village, Nise, Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State.

According to the bulletin, the suspects are wanted over allegations of criminal conspiracy to commit felony, threatening violence, criminal defamation, cyberstalking, criminal trespass, incitement and conduct likely to cause a breach of public peace.

However, the police did not provide further details of the specific incidents that led to the allegations or indicate whether any charges have already been filed before a court.

The bulletin directed members of the public who have information on the whereabouts of any of the listed individuals to arrest them where possible and hand them over to the nearest police station or the Office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Police Monitoring Unit, Force Headquarters, Abuja. It also provided the contact number for relevant information.
