Man leaves his dog during police chase, but the dog leads officers to him
A man tried to escape from police on an electric scooter, but the dog he left behind accidentally led officers straight to his hiding place! 🐶😂

The hilarious incident happened in Runcorn, England, when police attempted to stop a 41-year-old man named Charles Foy, who was riding an electric scooter with his two dogs running alongside him.
But instead of stopping, the man decided to speed away through nearby streets and alleyways!
And that’s when his escape plan took an unexpected turn.
One of his dogs, a loyal Labrador, couldn’t keep up and was left behind as its owner disappeared into the distance.
But rather than abandoning the frightened animal, a police officer approached the dog and jokingly asked, “Has he been a bad boy and left you?”
And what happened next was priceless!
The Labrador calmly began making its way home, completely unaware that the police officers were following right behind it.
The unsuspecting dog led them straight to its owner’s house, where officers spotted his other dog peering out of a ground-floor window!
Realising they had found the right address, officers entered the property and began searching for the missing man.
And after looking around, they eventually discovered him hiding in the loft underneath pieces of insulation!
The entire incident was captured on police footage, which later attracted attention online for the dog’s unintentionally helpful behaviour.
Foy was subsequently sentenced to three months in prison and banned from driving for more than four years.
But perhaps the funniest part of the entire story is that the Labrador hadn’t deliberately given its owner away.
It was simply doing what dogs naturally do when they get separated from their humans: heading straight back home!
The man might have managed to escape the police initially, but he hadn’t accounted for his own four-legged companion accidentally revealing his location.
Sometimes, man’s best friend can also be the police’s best friend! 🐶😂❤️
