Edo Youths Arrest Police Officers Caught Collecting Bribes from Motorists, Recover ₦4k

Some youths in Edo State have taken action against police officers caught collecting bribes from motorists in their area.

The youths arrested the officers, searched them and recovered approximately ₦4k believed to have been collected from motorists as bribes. They also warned the officers to desist from extorting motorists in their area.

Speaking on the incident, the leader of the youths explained that since they could not identify the motorists who had paid the bribes to return the money to them, they had decided to donate the recovered ₦4k to charity.
