Nadal Accepts Appointment to Real Madrid Board Of Directors

Tennis legend Rafael Nadal has accepted a proposal to join the Board of Directors of Spanish football club Real Madrid.

Nadal announced this in a statement shared on his official X account, thanking club president Florentino Pérez and the board for considering him for the position.

The 22-time Grand Slam champion said he accepted the proposal with excitement and a strong desire to contribute to the club.

“I want to thank President Florentino Pérez and the Board for proposing that I join the Board of Directors of Real Madrid. I have accepted this proposal with great excitement, a desire to learn, and a willingness to contribute everything I can,” he said.

Nadal, a lifelong Real Madrid supporter, is widely regarded as one of the greatest tennis players of all time.
