Wike Approves Canopy, Lighting Upgrade for Dunamis Pedestrian Bridge, Offers to Pay 50%A

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has approved a request by Dunamis International Gospel Centre Senior Pastor, Paul Enenche, to upgrade the church’s newly constructed pedestrian bridge with a modern protective canopy and elegant lighting.

Wike also offered to pay 50 per cent of the total cost of the proposed upgrade, which is expected to enhance the bridge’s appearance, improve safety and provide better protection for pedestrians.

The minister disclosed this while speaking at the commissioning of the pedestrian bridge constructed by Dunamis Church.

The proposed improvements will include a protective canopy covering the bridge and lighting installations designed to give the structure a more attractive appearance, particularly at night.

Photographs shared alongside the announcement show prototype designs of how the pedestrian bridge is expected to look after the canopy and lighting installations are completed.

The planned upgrade is expected to transform the bridge into a more visually appealing structure while improving the experience of pedestrians who use it.
