Widow of Slain Resident, Nana Batula, Regains Freedom After Days in Bandits’ Captivity

Relief has swept through Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State following the release of Nana Batula, the wife of the late Sagir Umar, and her children, who were abducted during a deadly bandit attack in the community.
According to reports, Nana Batula and her children regained their freedom on Tuesday evening after spending several days in captivity. Their release comes after a traumatic ordeal that began when armed bandits invaded the area, killing her husband, Sagir Umar, before abducting the family.
