US Immigration Arrests 53-Year-Old Nigerian National For Alleged Child Molestation, Sexual Battery

The arrest was carried out on April 21 by officers of the Los Angeles Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), a division of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

United States immigration authorities have arrested a 53-year-old Nigerian national, Olatunde Abiodun Olusanjo, over allegations bordering on child molestation, sexual battery, and soliciting lewd conduct.

The arrest was carried out on April 21 by officers of the Los Angeles Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), a division of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

In a statement released Friday evening, ICE disclosed that Olusanjo had prior arrests related to similar offenses, raising concerns over his criminal history in the United States.

According to the agency, “Los Angeles ERO arrested Olatunde Abiodun Olusanjo, 53, of Nigeria, Apr. 21.

“Olusanjo has previous arrests for child molestation, sexual battery and soliciting lewd conduct. He is in ICE custody pending removal.”

Authorities confirmed that Olusanjo remains in ICE custody as deportation proceedings are underway.
