Tension in Lekki-Epe Express Way Over Police Shooting Of Three Hausa Okoda Riders

Angry Hausa protesters have blocked Lekki-Epe Express Way at Onosa Bus stop, a few miles from the Ibeju Lekki Local Government Area, Lagos, in protest of alleged shooting of three acclaimed Hausa okoda riders by policemen of the Elemoro Police Division.

One of the three gun shot victims has been confirmed dead and his remains lying by roadside.

The incident is said to have happened around 11:00 pm on 28th of August, 2025.

At the time of publishing this report, the Lekki-Epe Express Way is blocked at the Onosa Bus stop by the angry Hausa protesters who demand immediate justice for the alleged k!lling of the alleged okada riders.
