Soldier Killed In Fatal Trailer Accident, Driver Flees Scene

Troops of Operation Safe Haven have recovered the body of a soldier killed in a road accident involving a trailer truck at Zololo Junction, Jos North LGA of Plateau State.

The soldier was reportedly knocked down while riding his motorcycle. The trailer driver fled the scene after the incident.

The remains were evacuated to the Nigerian Air Force Hospital morgue in Jos, while the abandoned truck was moved to Operation Safe Haven headquarters for investigation. Efforts are ongoing to arrest the fleeing driver.
