Missing 11-Year-Old Girl Found Wandering Around School In Edo, Unable To Identify Parents Or Recall Where She Lives
The girl was found on Thursday, according to a video of her interrogation by personnel of the security corps, which has circulated on social media.
An 11-year-old girl identified only as Victory has been found wandering around Inegbenebor School in the Limit area of Edo State after a Good Samaritan reportedly brought her to the Edo State Security Corps.

During the questioning, Victory told the security personnel that she was 11 or 12 years old but could not remember where she lived, identify her parents or explain how she got to the area.
“My name is Victory,” she said when asked to identify herself.
Asked what had happened to her, the girl replied: “I don’t know I have been walking around since. I can’t remember anything but I have been walking around since. I don’t know where I am or staying. I don’t know how long I have been working around but I know it has been long.”

When asked where she lived, she repeated: “I don’t know. I don’t know my parents. I can’t remember anything.”
A voice believed to belong to an official of the Edo State Security Corps said the girl was found around Inegbenebor School after a Good Samaritan brought her to the agency.
“This is a case of a missing person. We just saw this girl at Inegbenebor School at Limit. A good Samaritan found her and brought [her] to Edo State Security Corps,” the personnel said.
The officer explained that the girl was unable to provide information about her identity or where she came from during the profiling exercise.
“During the course of profiling her and [trying to] know where she’s from, she was unable to give [a] real identity of where she is coming from, which is very serious and I don’t [think] we can do anything rather than take her to station so that police might be of helping hand to us,” the officer added.
The security corps said the girl would be taken to a police station for further assistance.
Authorities are yet to provide further details about the circumstances surrounding the girl’s disappearance.
