JUST IN :  “I Have a Message for Atiku: You Cannot Win Without These Five People” — Ayodele

In a recent video on Facebook on Friday August 7th, 2026, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has urged former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to take urgent steps to secure the release of former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, warning that the former vice president may struggle to win without the support of five key individuals.

Ayodele made the statement while speaking about the political calculations surrounding Atiku and the African Democratic Congress ahead of the 2027 general elections.

According to the cleric, the five individuals remain crucial to any political strategy capable of delivering victory for Atiku.

He said, “I have this message for Atiku. Atiku, you cannot win. Five people are the best team that can make you win. They have arrested one and they are planning to arrest four of them again.”

Ayodele further warned that the situation could become more difficult for Atiku if the other four individuals are also arrested.

“If they arrest the remaining four, Atiku, you cannot win,” he added.

The cleric specifically expressed concern over El-Rufai’s reported detention, saying his absence could have political implications for the African Democratic Congress, ADC.

He urged Atiku to make the former Kaduna governor’s release a priority, arguing that El-Rufai’s continued detention could weaken the political structure surrounding the opposition movement.

“With El-Rufai in custody, a part of ADC is in detention. Do everything to secure El-Rufai’s release,” Ayodele said.

Ayodele’s comments come amid growing political realignments ahead of the 2027 presidential election, with opposition figures and parties exploring possible alliances and strategies to challenge the ruling party.
