The candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC in the governorship election in Ekiti state, Dare Bejide has accused President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s aide of beating him at his polling unit.
This was contained in a viral video that was posted on the official X handle of NEWS CENTRAL TV on Saturday, June 20, 2026.
In the video that surfaced online, Dare Bejide was seen explaining to some policemen how Tinubu’s aide came to his polling unit and disrupted voting exercise.
He said his driver was also beaten and he’s currently at the hospital receiving treatment.
Here is what Dare Bejide said;
“The SA to the President came here to beat me, he was confronting me. He beat my driver to stupor and he is now in the hospital. Is it because he is the SA to the President? His polling unit is not even in this place”.
