“It’s very swollen and worsening”, Nasir El-rufai’s aide raises alarm over new discovery on his health
Media aide to Nasir El-rufai, Muyiwa Adekeye has on Friday raised alarm over Nasir El-rufai’s worsening health while in the custody of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).
According to Muyiwa Adekeye, Nasir El-rufai eye condition is worsening and that the ICPC have denied him access to medical treatment. He revealed that Nasir El-rufai eyes are swollen, reddish, and itchy and demanded urgent medical treatment.

He explained that Nasir El-rufai’s family who visited him and saw the condition, reported it to the ICPC officials while demanding urgent medical attention for him.
“Two ICPC officials checked and saw the condition of his eyes. This was expected step to prompt either a hospital check or that a doctor would be summoned to attend to him.
“However, no medical attention was arranged. Rather one Henry, believed to have been seconded to the ICPC from another agency, falsely informed a family member that El-Rufai did not wish to see a doctor.
“The ICPC persists in treating him as if he is without rights and is undeserving of a duty of care while in their custody,” he said.
