The Federal Government has refunded N9.75 billion to Nasarawa State for the 2022 takeover of the Lafia Cargo Airport, now renamed Usman Dan Fodio Airport.

Governor Abdullahi Sule, who announced the refund during a stakeholder meeting, said the funds will aid key infrastructure projects, including the Kwandere-Sabon Gida Road. He also confirmed the completion of the N16 billion Lafia Flyover and Underpass ahead of President Tinubu’s expected commissioning in June.
