A lady has sparked widespread conversation on social media after advising women not to get pregnant for a man unless he agrees to three key conditions beforehand.

In a video that has attracted significant attention online, she argued that many women overlook important discussions before starting a family, only to face financial, emotional and parenting challenges later.

According to her, one of the first issues couples should address is financial support during pregnancy and after childbirth, stressing that women should not bear the burden alone if their careers and daily activities are temporarily affected.

She said:

“Don’t get pregnant for a man if he doesn’t agree to these.”

Speaking on financial support, she added:

“A certain amount of money: The man is supposed to give you a tangible amount of money before you get pregnant for him… then he must place you on an allowance.”

“Paternity leave: While companies grant new mothers maternity leave, they also grant new fathers paternity leave… a lot of men just choose not to take it.”
