Betara Announces ₦1.06 Billion Support for 38 APC Candidates

Rt. Hon. Muktar Betara Aliyu, OON, has announced a ₦1.06 billion support package for 38 APC candidates and outgoing members of the National and State Assemblies in Borno State ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Under the package, 10 candidates and outgoing members of the House of Representatives will receive ₦50 million each, amounting to ₦500 million, while 28 candidates and outgoing members of the Borno State House of Assembly will receive ₦20 million each, amounting to ₦560 million.

The intervention is aimed at strengthening the APC in Borno, supporting its candidates, and ensuring the party’s victory in the forthcoming elections.
