Lady Cries Out After Clicking ₦50,000 Grant Link Circulating on WhatsApp, Begins Receiving Debit Alerts

A Nigerian lady has cried out for help after allegedly falling victim to an online scam linked to a ₦50,000 grant link circulating on WhatsApp.

According to her, she clicked on the link, which reportedly promised beneficiaries a ₦50,000 grant. However, shortly afterwards, she began receiving debit alerts from her bank account.

“I clicked on the 50k grant link circulating on WhatsApp and since then I have been getting debit alerts.” She said
