BBNaija 11 First Runner-Up Aikou’s Team Launches €69,783 GoFundMe For “Project Professor” Dream

Aikou’s team has launched an official GoFundMe campaign seeking €69,783 to support the BBNaija Season 11 first runner-up’s ambition to attend university and pursue an academic career.
The fundraiser, organised by AIKONIC OMABABY, has drawn mixed reactions from fans, with some supporting the initiative while others question the need for such a large target.

Aikou’s team has launched an official GoFundMe campaign with a target of €69,783 to support the BBNaija Season 11 first runner-up’s ambition to attend university and pursue his “Project Professor” dream.

The fundraiser, titled “Project Professor Aikou: The Aikou Legacy Project,” was organised by AIKONIC OMABABY and is aimed at helping the reality TV star fund his education.

The campaign description said Aikou’s journey on Big Brother Naija may have ended, but his ambitions are “far from over”, urging fans who supported him during the show to also invest in his future.

“Project Professor AIKOU is an initiative created to support Aikou’s dreams of attending University and pursuing his academic ambitions,” the organisers stated.

The fundraiser was launched shortly after Aikou finished as the first runner-up of the 11th season of the reality TV show. Official Big Brother Naija records show Aikou was among the housemates who made it to the latter stages of the season.

As of the latest update on the GoFundMe page, the campaign had raised €680 from 18 donations toward its €70,000 target.

The initiative has, however, divided fans online. While some supporters said Aikou deserves help to achieve his academic ambitions, others questioned why fans are being asked to raise such a large amount for someone who has just left the reality show.
