“4 K!dnap V!ctims R£scued in Lokoja Army Operation”

“Troops of 12 Brigade  ONSA Hybrid Forces rescued 4 abducted victims during a night raid in Obajana, Lokoja LGA.

The operation happened around 11:30pm on July 2 after intel on kidnap activity in a Ruga settlement. Troops from Oshokoshoko engaged the suspects. 1 was killed, others escaped.

All 4 victims were found unharmed and reunited with families. Ammunition was also recovered.

Security forces say a manhunt is ongoing to capture the fleeing suspects and break up kidnapping gangs in the area.”
