You Can Get To Heaven In Two Ways” – Dr. Olukoya Warns On Eternal Destiny And Earthly Consequences
The General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, Dr. Daniel Olukoya, has taught that believers may reach heaven through different earthly experiences, while warning that spiritual conditions can heavily influence life outcomes before eternity.
Olukoya made the statement during a recent sermon where he reflected on scripture, divine reward, and the realities of “open” and “closed” heavens over human lives.
Quoting the Bible, he referenced Jesus’ words on sacrifice and eternal reward: “Verily I say unto you, there is no man that has left house or parents or brethren or wife or children for the kingdom of God’s sake, who shall not receive manifold more in the present time, and in the world to come everlasting life.”
He explained that some believers expect comfort only in heaven, while ignoring the promise of divine compensation even in their earthly journey.
According to him, God’s blessings can manifest in different ways depending on a person’s spiritual alignment and obedience.
Olukoya then used a comparison to describe different life journeys of believers, saying, “You can get to heaven in two ways—Abraham style, Lazarus style.”
He explained that Abraham represents a life of earthly comfort and prosperity, while Lazarus represents hardship and suffering despite eventual salvation.
According to him, both individuals ultimately reached eternal rest, but their earthly experiences were vastly different. He warned that believers should not assume that salvation guarantees identical life experiences on earth.
