The stage is set for the 2026 National Convention of the Youth Assembly of Nigeria (YAN), scheduled to hold on Saturday, November 7, in Abuja, as delegates representing the 774 Local Government Areas across the country arrive in the Federal Capital Territory ahead of the highly anticipated election.
The convention is expected to attract significant attention, particularly as several prominent aspirants are positioning themselves for key leadership positions in the national youth organisation.
Among the leading contenders for the position of National Speaker are Umar Babayaro from Kaduna State, Mahmud Lawal from Zamfara State, and Alhassino from Bauchi State.
