“One day, a sister called me and said, ‘Check your Instagram. Check Instablog.’ I’m like, why? She said, ‘They are dr@gging your husband there.’ Lo and behold, they had put him on Instablog. They had posted his picture, and they were dr@gging him on Twitter too.
So the girl that this sister called, it was her friend that introduced her to him. When the sister called that girl, the girl went back to her friend and said, ‘See the boy you connected me to. They said he’s married. They said he has four kids.’ That one said it’s a l!e.
She said, ‘Ah, this guy has been trying to date me for years.’ I think they had even sl&pt together. But maybe she had gotten into a serious relationship, and that’s when she said introduced him to someone else.
So it was the girl that went to put it on Twitter, saying, ‘I cannot believe that somebody that has been trying to ask me out for years, I eventually introduced him to my friend, only to hear that he’s married with four kids.’
She tagged all the blogs, and they picked it from there. The post was not even that b@d. By the time I started reading the comments, people knew him.
One person said, ‘Na lie, this guy cannot be married.’ Another person said, ‘This guy been dey toast me last week now.’ Another said, ‘It’s a lie. This boy been dey ask me out.’ Someone else said, ‘Me and this guy h00ked up some months ago.’ See, people were swearing with their grandmothers that this boy was not married.
On Twitter, people were even describing our house. One girl was saying, ‘I was in this guy’s house. I even bought him an expensive birthday gift. We were trying to Japa together.’ That was when I realised this thing was bigger than I thought.
I still wanted to make it work because I kept asking myself, ‘What will people say?’ People will say I f@iled at marriage again. Second time. Am I the only one? Am I the only one with a che@ting husband?
My sister and her husband came to my house and said I had to leave. My sister said if I don’t move, she will put a r0p£ around my neck and move me. Do you want to d!£ here?’ So they started packing my things.
By the time he came back, he met my sister and her husband packing my things. He didn’t say a word. He just continued watching his football match. He didn’t move. He didn’t beg. Nothing. Then I moved out.
