Woman Dies After Eating Roasted Pork Allegedly Given By Husband

Tragedy struck after a woman reportedly died following an illness linked to roasted pork allegedly given to her by her husband. The incident has sparked outrage and calls for justice online.

According to reports, the woman was called to her husband’s workplace where he allegedly gave her roasted pork to eat. She reportedly wanted to take the remaining meat home for their children, but the husband insisted she eat everything, saying they would buy something else for the children on their way home.

After returning home, the woman was said to have become seriously ill. Witnesses claimed foam started coming from her nose and mouth. Her children raised the alarm and rushed to get help, but she died on the way to the hospital. Reports also claim that some of her final words raised suspicions that the meat may have been poisoned.

Following the incident, the husband was arrested and is currently in police custody. During questioning, he allegedly told investigators that disagreements involving his wife and her family, including an argument over ₦191,000, were among issues that led to the alleged crime.

Authorities say investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of death and establish whether any criminal offence was committed. Police are expected to rely on medical findings and witness statements as the case proceeds.
