Woman Arrested With 699 Allegedly Stolen Mobile Phones, Three Minors Also Detained

Authorities in Kenya have reportedly arrested a woman identified as Elizabeth Musa Patel, also known as “Queen Elizabeth,” after security operatives allegedly recovered hundreds of suspected stolen mobile phones from her residence.

According to reports, the suspect was apprehended in the Kuma Musa area of Likoni following an operation that led to the discovery of 699 mobile phones believed to have been stolen.

Reports further claimed that three minors — identified as Shuta, Matako, and Titi Patel, all said to be 11 years old — were also arrested in connection with the case. Authorities suspect the children may have been working with the main suspect, although details surrounding their alleged roles remain unclear.

The massive recovery has generated widespread reactions, with many expressing shock at the scale of the alleged operation and the reported involvement of minors.

Police authorities have appealed to members of the public who may have lost their mobile devices to come forward for identification and possible recovery of their stolen phones.
