Without Wike, Tinubu Cannot Win Presidential Election – Rivers Youth

A Rivers State youth leader, Comrade Stephen Jackson, has declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu cannot secure victory in the next presidential election without the support of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.

Jackson made the statement while strongly backing recent comments by Wike in which the FCT Minister described some All Progressives Congress (APC) governors as lazy.

According to the youth leader, Wike’s contributions to the APC and his political influence in the South-South remain critical to the party’s success at the national level. He argued that the minister’s grassroots network and capacity to mobilise support cannot be overlooked by the ruling party.

“Without Wike, Tinubu cannot win the presidential election,” Jackson stated. He further supported Wike’s criticism of certain APC governors, saying their alleged lack of initiative and delivery had weakened the party’s standing in several states.

The Rivers youth leader called on APC stakeholders to recognise Wike’s value and work towards greater synergy ahead of future elections.
