Who will remember you when the season changes?

Either you like it or not, season WILL change. No matter how exceptional you are on that stage, life is in seasons. One day you will not be the person on that stage.

One of the biggest calamities that will ever happen to you is that today you are the Managing Director, Chairman of a company, a man in authority… but you failed to raise men.

You will lose Kingdom relevance if you are in authority and you failed to raise men.

I beg you this morning: RAISE MEN!

Are you a politician, a man of authority, a Captain of Industry? Raise men. Let someone get a job because of you. Show me the people you are raising.

Learn from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu – raise men, invest in people’s destiny, send words and money to support a worthy cause.

Now that you are in office – raise men, show men kindness, let someone get a job or promotion  because of you.

If you are not raising men today, a day will come and you will not be in that position.

Question: BUT WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO RAISE MEN?

THIS IS WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE:

Today, when we see Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, SAN — our former Vice President — we remember Tinubu.

When we see Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Governor of Lagos State, we remember Tinubu.

When we see Rauf Aregbesola, former Governor of Osun and Minister, we remember Tinubu.

When we see Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN, former Governor and Minister, we remember Tinubu.

When we see Alhaji Lai Mohammed, former Minister of Information, we remember Tinubu.

When we see Babatunde Fowler, former Executive Chairman of FIRS, we remember Tinubu.

When we see Dr. Kayode Fayemi, former Governor of Ekiti, we remember Tinubu.

When we read about Late President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, we remember Tinubu.

When we see Tunji Bello, Louis Odion, we remember Tinubu.

The list is endless.

That is what a monument looks like. Not gold. Not stolen wealth. “PEOPLE”.

Professor Wole Soyinka himself testified: without the business acumen and support of Tinubu, many in exile during NADECO would not have survived.

My question to you and to me is this:

Whom shall we see tomorrow and remember YOU?
Whom shall we see tomorrow and remember ME?

MOMENT OF TRUTH: NOBODY RISES WITHOUT SPONSORS

Late Dr. Myles Munroe said it best:

“Mature people create people greater than themselves. Leadership success is measured by the success of your successor.”_

STOP THE RAT RACE. START THE RAISING.

Instead of stealing public funds that land us in jail and ruin our families… Let us raise people.

Instead of watching poverty breed banditry, kidnapping, insecurity, and Boko Haram… Let us sponsor education and skills.

Instead of allowing the emergence of Almajiris as ready recruits for crime… Let us build a nation where everyone lives in dignity.

A candle loses nothing by lighting another candle.
When we build the people, the people will build the city.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT THIS MORNING

Are you in a position of authority?
Help just one, two, or three people around you to succeed.

A job. A contract. A skill. School fees.

Do it today.
Because you are here for a time like this.

Don’t let your vision die with you. Train your replacement.
That is how your legacy will make your tombstone unnecessary.

You will succeed.
