what I saw live at Pastor Adeboye’s meeting  –  Evang Salako Godwin

We all know how massive the crowd is. You can’t even choose a neighbor because one person is surrounded by 100 people at once.

That night, after Daddy E.A. Adeboye finished preaching, he asked all who needed healing and God’s touch to come forward. As expected, many people with diverse spiritual and physical challenges rushed out.

I sat back and told myself, “People talk of miracles tonight I will see this burning bush that is never consumed. I will see what God will do with my own eyes.”

Beloved, the most shocking thing was this: He never moved an inch. He laid hands on no one. He didn’t even raise his voice.

Then he declared: “In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, receive your miracle. You that are lame, stand up and walk.”

Instantly, things began to happen before my very eyes and all of them were healed!

I’ve always known Pastor Adeboye as one of the most gentle and compassionate pastors in Nigeria. But that day I learnt: he is never gentle in the place of prayer.

Another time, it was his turn to preach. He said the power of the Holy Ghost upon him was too heavy and he wanted to share some with the ministers. He asked some ministers to come forward and form a circle. He said he would just come down from the pulpit, join his hands with theirs, and leave.

Brethren, the moment he left them and walked back to the pulpit, they were all electrified with the electricity of the Holy Ghost! Then I knew: his gentle temperament does not apply in spiritual matters.

If the miracles of Paul and Peter happened 2,000 years ago, what about the ones in our generation?

Brethren, God is still in the business of raising men for His glory and drawing souls to His Kingdom through His servants. He can use YOU too  if only you will surrender all to Him.
