“We Are Ready to Correct the Wrongs of Our Predecessors” — Olugbenga Falaiye
The Ondo Central Senatorial District candidate of the New Nigeria Democratic Party (NDC), Olugbenga Falaiye, has declared his readiness to provide a new direction for the district, promising to correct what he described as the shortcomings of previous representatives through effective and people centred representation.

Falaiye said Ondo Central is ripe for meaningful development, stressing that the district possesses enormous human and economic potential that can be better harnessed through purposeful leadership and effective representation at the National Assembly.
Speaking on his project, the NDC candidate said his aspiration is driven by a desire to bring about tangible development and ensure that the people of Ondo Central derive greater benefits from their representation at the Senate.
According to him, the Senate should not merely be a place for political participation, but an avenue through which lawmakers can attract development, influence policies, facilitate federal interventions and advocate for the interests of their constituents.
“We are ready and fully prepared to correct the wrongs of our predecessors. Ondo Central is ripe for development, and we are ready to draw down development through quality representation at the Senate,” Falaiye said.
He maintained that his administration of the senatorial mandate would focus on building stronger connections between the people and the federal government while pursuing opportunities capable of improving infrastructure, education, healthcare, employment, youth empowerment and economic development.
Falaiye also emphasised the importance of accessibility and accountability, promising to maintain regular engagement with constituents across the six local government areas that make up Ondo Central Senatorial District.
He said the people deserve a senator who will not only speak for them in Abuja but also understand their everyday challenges and consistently pursue practical solutions.
The NDC candidate therefore urged residents of Ondo Central to support his candidacy and join him in the quest to establish a new culture of purposeful, responsive and development-oriented representation.
Falaiye expressed optimism that with the collective support of the people, Ondo Central can unlock its full potential and become a stronger beneficiary of federal opportunities and interventions.
He called on voters to look beyond partisan considerations and focus on competence, capacity, accountability and the ability to deliver meaningful representation when deciding who should represent the district at the Senate.
