Turaki PDP Faction Visits Goodluck Jonathan in Abuja Amid 2027 Speculation

The Turaki PDP faction on Friday visited its presidential candidate, former President Goodluck Jonathan, in Abuja.

Despite being named the faction’s presidential candidate, Jonathan has not publicly declared any interest in contesting the 2027 presidential election.

On May 7, the former president said he would consult widely before making a decision on whether to run, following a protest by a group that stormed his Abuja office to urge him to declare. He has not spoken to the press since that day.
