Trump’s White House Launches Video Games Allowing Players To Deport Migrants, Build Border Wall

US President Donald Trump’s White House has launched a website featuring arcade-style video games that allow players to deport migrants, build a border wall and promote a government investment programme in the United States.
The games were unveiled on Thursday, as the Trump administration intensifies its arrest and deportation campaign against undocumented migrants. Rights groups have criticised the initiative, saying it turns serious immigration issues into entertainment.
One of the games, called “Rio Run,” is an updated version of the classic Snake game and features US border czar Tom Homan chasing migrants of different skin colours along the Rio Grande near the US-Mexico border.
Another game, “Build the Wall,” is based on the block-stacking game Tetris. Players are instructed to build a border wall, with the game telling them to “protect the border from the coming horde.”
A third game promotes so-called “Trump Accounts,” investment accounts containing a $1,000 government deposit for children born in the US between 2025 and 2028. Players are required to collect nets that are placed into the accounts as part of the game.

The White House also posted a promotional video for the games on its X account using the “Make America Great Again” branding. The post urged users to “build the wall,” “deport” and “fill a Trump Account.”
The White House said that the games were designed to present the administration’s policies in a way that would appeal to Americans.
It said the initiative was intended to highlight what it described as a culture of “fun and winning” while contrasting it with what it called the Democrats’ “dark socialist vision” for the country.
According to The Straits Times, immigration rights groups, however, condemned the games and questioned the decision to portray migrant deportations as entertainment.
Amerika Garcia Grewal, co-director of the Frontera Federation in Eagle Pass, Texas, said the administration had turned its treatment of migrants into a game.
Adriana Jasso, a programme coordinator with AMIGOS San Diego Community who works at the border, also criticised the initiative, describing the arcade-style games as evidence of what she called a “lack of seriousness” by the administration.
The launch comes as Trump pursues policies aimed at increasing deportations of undocumented migrants and reducing illegal border crossings. Trump made mass deportation a central part of his campaign and has taken several measures since returning to office to accelerate immigration enforcement.
The White House has also used social media campaigns and other publicity stunts to promote Trump’s policies and challenge his political opponents. The new gaming website is part of that broader communications strategy as the administration continues its immigration crackdown.
