Tragedy in Sagamu as Construction Worker Falls on Live Electric Wires

A construction worker in Sagamu, Ogun State, was severely injured on Sunday after falling from a building onto live electric wires along street poles at Ijokun.

A disturbing video received by Lagos Reporters shows the unidentified man struggling as his body caught fire while entangled in the wires. Moments later, he fell to the ground as onlookers rushed to his aid.

Eyewitnesses said the victim was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention. His current condition remains unknown at the time of filing this report.

The incident has raised fresh concerns over safety measures at construction sites and the dangers of working close to live power lines. Residents of Ijokun urged authorities and power distribution companies to enforce stricter safety compliance to prevent similar tragedies.
