In a strongly worded statement, Dokubo accused President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of backing Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike in what he described as a calculated effort to destabilise Rivers State.
“And what is happening in Rivers State, where President Tinubu is supporting Wike to destabilize Rivers State… I feel disappointed,” Dokubo said, expressing frustration over the deepening political crisis.

“If you remove Fubara, something will happen. If you try to remove Fubara, something will happen,” he declared, leaving little doubt about his stance.
