A toddler, who drowned in a pool, has been found alive in a mortuary after he was declared dead by a doctor.

A police report stated that the incident occurred in February, when an 18-month-old child was found drowned in a pool during a Super Bowl gathering.
The drowned child was declared dead at Mercy Gilbert Medical Centre, where he was taken after he was pulled out of the pool.
The police report stated that before the doctor, A. Toosi, who declared the toddler dead, did so, one of the officers heard a nurse saying, “I have a pulse.”
According to the report, an officer said that when he told Mr Toosi what the nurse had said, the doctor told him that he was in charge, that he had a medical degree, that he had gone to medical school for a reason, and to let him do his thing.
The parents of the toddler have been charged with the alleged murder and torture of the boy.
A spokesperson for the hospital called the development a “heartbreaking” situation.
“We immediately conducted a thorough review of all aspects of the care that was provided to learn what happened and to make meaningful changes to strengthen our care.
“We are unable to comment on those involved in the patient’s care, and out of respect for the patient’s privacy, we cannot provide any additional details. We continue to work with the family and their representative. Patient safety and exceptional care are our highest priorities,” stated the spokesman.
