Throwback: Nyesom Wike in Office as Chairman of Obio/Akpor LGA, Rivers State

An archival photo of Nyesom Wike, now the Federal Capital Territory Minister, in his office while serving as Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area (LGA), Rivers State, has resurfaced on social media. Wike, who later ascended to the position of Governor of Rivers State, held the chairmanship from 1999 to 2007.
