They Were Watching TV and Eating as if Nobody Died” —late singer’s Father Recounts Visit to Late Toluwani’s House
When I got to Toluwani’s house, they were watching television, eating, and carrying plates of food as if nobody had d!ed. I felt so pained.

There was no sign of sadness or sorrow on their faces. Toluwani’s lifeless body was there, yet people were watching television.
It had not even been eight days, and I was not happy with what I saw. I could not see any sign of mourning, so I told them to switch off the television.
When we got to the morgue, I took pictures of his lifeless body. I even asked them to remove his clothes so I could confirm that it was really him.
I also challenged Toluwani’s wife about an incident when her father-in-law called her and asked, “If your husband does not check on me, why can’t you, as his wife, check on me?”
Toluwani collected the phone from his wife and told his father not to come and scatter his home.
Nobody knew where Toluwani lived because whenever he wanted to have a party, he would rent a hall instead of hosting it at home.
Toluwani’s wife’s mother was living in Sodiq’s house, while his father was living in a face-me-I-face-you apartment.
