They are Not Spirits, Rise Up Against Them – Sunday Igboho To Nigerians on insecurity 
Our heritage Reporter online reports that the Yoruba nation activist, Sunday Adeyemo aka Igboho, has declared that bandits are not spirit.
Igboho urged youths across communities to rise up and defend their territories against them.
Speaking during the launch of Iru Ekun Security Network in Kwara State on Thursday, Igboho alleged that the activities of bandits had continued largely because of information and support provided by local collaborators.
“Bandits are not spirits. They have continued to operate because some people within our communities provide them with information and support. It is time for us to hold ourselves accountable.
“Our youths must rise to defend their communities because, with unity and cooperation, we can confront these criminals.
“If you know you are involved in activities that encourage banditry or threaten the peace of our state, this is the time to stop or leave. Anyone found participating in such crimes will face the consequences,” he warned.
The Yoruba nation freedom fighter also insisted that the security was not established to target Fulani people in the Southwest but to confront criminals in the region.
In another development, GISTSMATE MEDIA reports that the air component of Operation Hadin Kai has destroyed a suspected terrorist hideout in Borno state in an air strike.
Sources told Zagazola Makama, a counter-insurgency publication, that the operation was conducted in the early hours of July 20 after intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) assets detected suspicious terrorist activities around KLA Balia in the Lake Chad region.
“According to the sources, the ISR platform, codenamed GUARDIAN, established overhead surveillance at about 5:35 a.m. before confirming the target,” Makama said.
“Following positive identification, the aircraft conducted a precision strike on the suspected terrorist hideout.
