The Big Elephant Continues to Grow – Massive Turnout in Okija Shows Depth of Love for Omeudo
Ohaji/Egbema, Oguta, Oru West, and indeed the good people of Imo State came out in their numbers to stand with Hon. Uju Kingsley Chima, MFR (Omeudo) at the burial ceremony of his mother-in-law in Okija, Anambra State.
The people of Okija were amazed. They said they had never witnessed such a massive turnout of people from outside their community for an occasion like this. The burial was not only grand, it was beautifully coordinated, lively, peaceful, and filled with funfair.
With over five, 500-capacity tents each filled to the brim, canopies filled and thousands more people standing outside, the atmosphere was simply magnificent. Every section of the ceremony had people from different communities in Ohaji/Egbema, Oguta and Oru West federal constituency, all coming together in an impressive display of love, unity, and solidarity. Omeudo was shown an unconditional massive love.
The people of Anambra openly acknowledged that they truly have a great in-law in Hon. Uju Kingsley Chima, MFR. Even representatives of the Anambra State Government spoke highly of him and made it clear that perhaps we do not fully appreciate the calibre of the man we have among us, a great Nigerian and one of the younger leaders with the potential to play a major role in steering the affairs of this great nation someday.
But Omeudo did not become this important by himself. The people of Ohaji/Egbema, Oguta, Oru West, and Imo State in general made him who he is today. The love, support, loyalty, and solidarity of our people have been a major part of his journey.
These are just small clips from the occasion. We captured every moment of this magnificent celebration, from the arrival of dignitaries to the different sections of the ceremony and the massive show of love from our people.
We are just getting started.
We will continue to bring those beautiful moments to your screens.
We are proud of you, Omeudo. ❤️
Ohaji/Egbema,Oguta,Oru/West Imo State ONE PEOPLE, ONE LOVE!
