A Nigerian woman, Precious John Galumje, has reacted after her fiance, Iliya Ubin, cancelled their wedding 12 days to the ceremony.
The couple had their traditional wedding in January 2026.
The church wedding was initially scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 3, 2026 in Jalingo, Taraba State.
The Secretary of the Wedding Committee on the WhatsApp platform, Bitrus Ivo Enga, made the announcement on behalf of the groom-to-be on Monday, September 21.
Taking to Facebook on Tuesday, September 22, Precious wrote: “Thank you Jesus”
She added that business goes on.
Meanwhile, Mr Enga, has clarified that he isn’t the groom as reported by some publications.
According to him, the groom-to-be personally pleaded with him to make a public announcement concerning the cancellation.
