Take Decisive Action Against Bandits, Kidnappers, COAS Charges Recruits

The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, has urged graduating recruits under the Restore Hope initiative to decisively confront bandits, kidnappers, and other criminal elements threatening Nigeria’s security.

Speaking during the graduation ceremony held on Thursday at the Depot Nigerian Army Shooting Range in Zaria, Shaibu said Nigeria’s security challenges require courage, discipline, intelligence, and strategic thinking, noting that asymmetric threats demand more than conventional responses.
