Stanley Osifo is the businessman who spent ₦100 million to run against President Bola Tinubu in the APC primary.
Yesterday, he got only 16,503 votes, while Tinubu got an unprecedented 10.9 million. After the result, Tinubu gave him a handshake for daring to contest. Many Nigerians call it an arrangement.
Some are skeptical about the said 10.9 million votes Tinubu got. But history will always remember Stanley Osifo for his bravery in daring to battle Tinubu and, more so, for getting a presidential handshake worth ₦100 million.
