Sowore confirms Blord case dropped after private settlement
Human rights activist Omoyele Sowore has confirmed that the case involving social media personality Blord has been discontinued following a private resolution.
In a video circulating online, Sowore said the matter had been settled and that Blord had been released from custody, with no further need for a bail application.
“The case is discontinued… we have brought Blord out,” he said, noting that the resolution was reached outside the courtroom.
Sowore also criticised the role of the police in the matter, alleging misuse of public resources in pursuing what he described as unnecessary legal action.
He further raised concerns about due process, insisting that serious allegations must be handled in appropriate courts and in line with constitutional provisions.
His comments come amid ongoing exchanges with VeryDarkMan, who had earlier suggested that the issue had evolved beyond Blord into a separate matter.
