Sheikh Gumi Gives Surprising Response to the US, Israel War with Iran

Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, Nigerian islamist known for his dissent against president Donald Trump’s government, has reacted to the escalated conflict between US, Israel and Iran.

Sheikh Gumi, who does not hide his support for the Islamic leadership in Iran, rather than declare his support for the Islamic Republic of Iran, called for restraint between the warring nations, stating that “war is never a solution”.

Sheikh Gumi was reacting to report of US and Israel joint military action in Iran that reportedly resulted in the deàth of top Iran military officers while the whereabout of the primary target of the military operation, Ali Khamenei, the supreme leader of Iran, is unknown.

Sheikh Gumi had a day ago, taunted the US government, insinuating that they are wary of Iran missiles. Sheikh Gumi while reacting to the US secretary of state, Marco Rubio’s press statement on Iran’s unwillingness to discontinue its nuclear program as well as its resolve to produce missile capable of reaching the US, wrote on his Facebook page:”the fear of missiles is the begining of wisdom”.
