A disturbing incident has reportedly shaken residents of Ekpoma in Edo State after a group of young men allegedly forced their way into the home of a well-known wealthy resident rumored to be involved in internet fraud.
According to eyewitness accounts circulating on social media, suspicions had been growing for months over unusual movements around the residence. Matters escalated when a group of youths broke into the compound and stumbled upon a shocking discovery—a shrine allegedly situated at the back of the house.
But the most horrifying part of the incident was the reported discovery of a girl’s decomposed body inside a white coffin. Witnesses claim the body was already badly decayed, making identification difficult. However, an expensive wig found on the corpse was said to be the only clue that the victim was female.
The revelation sparked outrage among the crowd, leading to the destruction of several properties within the compound as anger and fear spread through the community.
