SHOCK AS LAGOS NURTW CHIEFTAIN DIES AFTER MYSTERIOUS GUN ATTACK

The Lagos State chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) has been thrown into mourning following the death of its Organising Secretary, Toba Ajiboye, who reportedly succumbed to injuries after being shot by unidentified gunmen.

According to reports, the attack occurred on Sunday night under circumstances that are still being investigated. Although there were initial hopes that Ajiboye would recover after receiving emergency medical treatment, he sadly passed away, leaving family members, colleagues, and supporters devastated by the tragic news.

His death has sent shockwaves through the transport union and the wider Lagos community, with many describing him as a committed union leader whose sudden loss will be deeply felt. The incident has also raised fresh concerns over the growing wave of violent attacks and insecurity, prompting calls for stronger measures to protect lives and bring perpetrators to justice.

As of now, the motive behind the attack remains unknown, and no arrests have been officially announced. Security agencies are expected to intensify investigations to uncover those responsible and determine the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting.

The tragic killing has reignited public demands for a thorough investigation, with many Nigerians urging the authorities to act swiftly and ensure that those behind the attack are identified and prosecuted.
