According to the woman’s account, she had visited the pastor’s residence to deliver food when the situation reportedly escalated. She alleged that the cleric began making advances toward her and ignored her repeated refusals.
She further claimed the encounter turned into an attempted sexual assault, stating that she resisted throughout.
“I knew that this man was trying something again. And I gave excuse and you said you will wait for me to finish whatever I was doing and get you the pounded yam and egusi. I brought it to you in your place in the upper room. You started asking me questions and before I knew it you were all over me. Then you were trying to rape me and I kept closing my legs and telling you no. You did it to the extent that you now stopped and now said okay, you now asked me to give you head, you don’t remember?” she said.
During the exchange captured in the video, the pastor attempted to respond, saying, “Let me ask her a question….”
The video has since gone viral, triggering outrage and conversations around safety, accountability, and the conduct of religious leaders.
