Rescued Chibok Girl Rejected Family Reunion, Opted To Stay With Boko Haram Husband — Ex-NIA DG
Abuja – A former Director General of the National Intelligence Agency, NIA, has revealed that one of the Chibok schoolgirls rescued from captivity refused to return to her family.

According to the ex-NIA DG, the girl chose to remain with her Boko Haram husband instead of going back home after she was freed.
The statement has triggered fresh conversations online regarding the 2014 abduction of over 200 students from Government Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State.
The Chibok case remains one of the most prominent incidents linked to insurgency in Nigeria, with a number of the girls still unaccounted for years later.
Officials have not disclosed the identity of the rescued girl or details about her current situation.
