RED MEAT WILL K!LL YOU

“RED MEAT WILL KILL YOU
they have been screaming this thing since but let’s talk honestly.
Because in this life, it’s not the red meat that is causing us problems….it’s the way we eat it.
Most Nigerians don’t even “take red meat.” We collect it like award. An average Nigerian eats two big chunks of meat in rice and stew, three in soup, one again when nobody is looking.
Then we balance it with fried foods, late-night eating, and zero exercise.
But the blame always goes straight to the meat when something goes wrong 😅
And before we continue, let me even explain something small because many people don’t know:
When we say “red meat,” we mean:
Beef (cow meat)
Goat meat
Ram meat
Shaki, pomo, organ meat (kidney, liver, heart, all those inside meat from cow and goat).
Anything from four-leg animals we use for stew and soup.
That’s what they call red meat. So it’s not chicken, not fish, not turkey.
Now back to the matter…..
Red meat is not the enemy. Where the problem is? Eating it in excess, the way we cook it, and our lifestyle are the real troublemakers.
And let’s even talk small truth that people don’t know: red meat is also not useless. In fact, it actually helps your body in several ways:
It gives you strength….that strong feeling after a proper meal.
It helps your blood….especially if you look pale or feel very tired easily.
It helps your muscles….people who work so much physically or build body will feel it.
It keeps you full….so that you are not hunting snacks every 10 minutes. Did you even know just eating a few pieces of meat and drinking water can actually fill you up?
But anything you overdo will still show you pepper.
I have seen people who don’t even touch meat….but their BP is still high, bad cholesterol is still up because their life is stressing them more than food.
So before we cancel meat completely, maybe the real question is:
Is it really the beef….or the lifestyle that comes with it?
