Pro-Tinubu Group Congratulates Dauda Lawal, Hamzat, M.A. Abubakar, Fessy West, Ondo APC Candidates, Rallies Support for 2027
The Renewed Hope Street Crusaders (RHSC) has congratulated Governor Dauda Lawal, Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat, M.A. Abubakar, Hon. Fessy West, and all victorious All Progressives Congress (APC) National Assembly candidates from Ondo State on their emergence at the party’s recently concluded primaries.
The organisation described their victories as a convincing endorsement of visionary leadership, grassroots acceptability, political competence, and unwavering commitment to the progressive ideals of the APC.
In a statement signed by its National Cordinator, YinkaRichards, on Saturday, the group said the successful conduct of the primaries had further demonstrated the APC’s democratic maturity and readiness to consolidate its electoral dominance ahead of the 2027 general elections.
According to the statement, the emergence of the candidates represents the collective aspiration of party members to entrust leadership responsibilities to individuals with the capacity, experience, and credibility to advance good governance and deliver quality representation.
The group praised Governor Dauda Lawal for what it described as his transformational leadership, developmental initiatives, and commitment to improving the welfare of the people, noting that his victory reflected the confidence of party stakeholders in his administration.
It also commended Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat for his outstanding record of public service, intellectual leadership, and dedication to progressive governance, describing him as one of the finest administrators within the APC family.
The statement further applauded His Excellency, M.A. Abubakar for his consistency, political experience, and commitment to strengthening democratic institutions, while describing Hon. Fessy West as an energetic grassroots politician whose accessibility, youth-focused programmes, and community engagement have continued to earn him widespread admiration.
The organisation equally congratulated all APC candidates for the Senate and House of Representatives from Ondo State, urging them to remain humble in victory, foster reconciliation within the party, and work collectively towards securing overwhelming victories for the APC in the forthcoming general elections.
“The conclusion of the APC primaries marks the beginning of a more important assignment. Victory at the primaries must now translate into victory at the polls through unity, reconciliation, effective mobilisation, and sustained engagement with the people. Every successful candidate must see this mandate as a call to greater service and inclusive leadership,” the statement said.
The Renewed Hope Street Crusaders therefore called on party leaders, support groups, youths, women, professionals, artisans, market associations, religious bodies, and traditional institutions to unite behind all APC candidates and intensify grassroots mobilisation across the country.
The group pledged to deploy its nationwide structures to promote voter education, community engagement, media advocacy, and grassroots campaigns in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and the electoral success of all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.
“We are confident that the APC possesses the leadership, vision, and national spread required to continue delivering purposeful governance for Nigerians. The Renewed Hope Street Crusaders will continue to mobilise citizens across communities to support credible candidates whose commitment to national development, economic prosperity, security, and democratic progress remains unquestionable,” the statement added.
The organisation expressed optimism that with sustained unity, effective mobilisation, and issue-based campaigns, the APC would record another landmark electoral victory in 2027 while consolidating democratic governance and accelerating national development.
