Primate Ayodele Reveals Planned Pre-Election Protest Against Government
Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has issued a caution that a large-scale protest is being planned ahead of the presidential election, intended to disrupt the current administration. The warning was communicated through his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, who released a statement detailing the impending unrest.
According to Primate Ayodele, the protest will begin gradually in select states but is designed to escalate rapidly, ultimately catching the government off guard. He described the demonstration as part of a deliberate strategy aimed at undermining President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration and warned that it could have significant repercussions on the nation’s economy.
“It will be a massive protest, initially starting in five states. This is part of broader strategies to challenge the presidency if caution is not exercised. It is capable of disrupting the economy, so the president must not dismiss it,” the cleric said.
Primate Ayodele further urged the president to pay close attention to intelligence reports, particularly from the Department of State Services (DSS), as these could provide early warnings of events that might trigger the protest.
He also hinted at involvement from former political leaders, suggesting that some ex-heads of government are actively plotting to weaken and destabilize the current administration.
“The protest may appear minor at first, but the government may underestimate it. Certain developments will spark unrest, which is why the president should heed security advice, especially from the DSS,” he added. “Some past leaders are orchestrating moves against the administration to destabilize it.”
This warning highlights rising political tensions and the potential for unrest as Nigeria approaches its next presidential election, emphasizing the need for vigilance and proactive security measures.
